Capital Painter was commissioned to carry out a full repainting and refurbishment of a car parking and storage facility in central London, near Marble Arch. The client, Central London Car Storage, requested a complete refresh of all previously painted areas, including walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other structural elements, to improve both the visual appearance and durability of the space.
As the car park remained in daily use, the project was carefully planned and delivered in three stages. This phased approach allowed the facility to stay operational throughout the works, ensuring minimal disruption to parking customers while maintaining a safe and well-organised environment.
The project took approximately three months to complete. Each stage included detailed surface preparation, local repairs where required, and the application of robust paint systems suitable for enclosed, high-traffic car parking areas.
For the floor coating and line marking, Capital Painter worked alongside a specialist contractor, Total Line Marking. The floors were finished using professional epoxy paint systems, selected for their durability, resistance to wear, and high visibility—essential for safety and clear vehicle guidance.
The completed works resulted in a clean, refreshed, and professional car storage environment, designed to withstand heavy daily use while significantly improving the overall look and functionality of the space. This project demonstrates Capital Painter’s experience in delivering large-scale commercial painting projects in live central London environments with minimal disruption.
